State of Emergency: Survival Strategies

While we advocate Independent Education for Black Children, we recognise that the over whelming majority will attend state school. Having guided 4 sons through the Education System, Bro. Ldr. Mbandaka is an expert in helping to navigate children through school, minimising & neutralising the negative effects therein. This keynote presentation will provide practical, everyday programmes, routines & procedures for engaging with our children and their schools.

The British Education System has been negatively affecting Black Children for over half a century, yet many of us remain unaware or detached from this important history. Sister Amitiye will draw on the research of Black educationalist from the 1960's all the way up to present day in putting this reality in to context.
